Close to Haram? Yes (Appx 5 min walk) Clean? looks clean once u enter.There were cockroaches in the room and bathroom! so this raises a question regarding cleanliness.. The hotel was brilliant, The hotel staff were very polite. Recommended. However the tour operator - Abu Hafsah Blackburn was a shambles, will NEVER travel with them again! more

Ignore the Saudi "stars" system. Although the Dar Al Nadwa is supposedly 4 star it is really only a 3-star hotel. The bathrooms are really small and 1/2 of the triple rooms are double with a 3rd bed thrown in and no room to swing a cat.
