Bokked directly, no hassle, room ready upon arrival. Prompt check in (a change from last visit). Front desk took a copy of passport and credit card. Free voucher for a drink at bar. Room was clean and all features were functional. Room size is comparable to US. Bed was hard to my personal taste, but difficult to match individuals to... more

2 western female travellers on weekend shopping trip from Saudi Arabia. Feel safe in Ramada, reasonably safe area to walk around at night. Hired a car from the airport, car park available, when leaving hotel assistant brought the car to us as it was raining! Reception staff friendly, and professional. Concierge friendly and very very helpful. Nothing was a trouble.... more

Over the past few years, I stayed at most Bahrain 4-5 star hotels. I always go back to Ramada because it's easy to park (I always rent a car in Bahrain)...and it's surrounded by decent restaurants / shops. Irish pub/resto downstairs is also good. This place frequently is at max capacity. book early and ask for a renovated room. more

First let me say that this is the 2nd hotel I have stayed in, in Bahrain. The first was the Ramada Palace Hotel, and while it got mixed reviews, it was far better for the price. The Ramada Bahrain was a disappointment to say the least. I should have known before I got there. Someone stated that you can email... more

Spent the weekend of July 4, 2008 at the Ramada Inn Bahrain. For a relaxed stay, and decent room rates in Bahrain, I highly recommend the Ramada Bahrain. True, there are a few "cultural" challenges, however those can be addressed and overcome. Location is super, especially for evening's out, and business in town. Just accross the main drag from Juffair,... more

This was my fourth hotel in Bahrain and the most enjoyable so far. The check in was speedy and the staff very friendly, the rooms were a good size and clean with plenty of storage. The bathroom was very nice although the water pressure is quite poor. I would prefer the tea and coffee making facilities to be available as... more

I have been staying at Bahrain Ramada as long as I visit Bahrain since last April 2007. Been staying there at times for ten days in a row. Ample carpark. But I do not drive in Bahrain. Free pick up service to and fro airport. But vehicle requires a major overhaul. Over the desk service - good. But cockups by... more

Having read mixed reviews about this hotel I was a little concerned about my stay. (this hotel was not my first choice) I found the hotel clean, the staff attentive without being obtrusive. They provided airport transfers free of charge, furnished my room with tea and coffee making equipment on request and even provided free tranport to and from the... more

Good location opposite the Gudaibiya Palace and a short walk to the Grand Mosque. Hotel will provide complimentary airport transfers if you email them beforehand on ramares@batelco.com.bh (a tip I read about on this website but not mentioned on the hotel website). Although we arrived before 2pm check-in the reception apologised for our room not being available and gave us... more

We stay here all the time, sometimes overnight other times for a couple of nights. Been doing it for quite a few years now. It really is like going home, the staff all know you name, what you drink, your childrens names etc etc. It is really good value for money, all you do is ask for your corporate rate... more
