Well, the hotel is situated in a central area of Tehran. But it is very basic. Those who have got used to european standarts are gonna be shocked. Again, it is very basic, it needs renovation (it seems that it has not been renovated for almost 40 years). The breakfast includes a piece of iranian bread (lavash), some margarine and a tea. There are no dining opportunities in this part of Tehran. Nobody speaks English in Tehran.
but... the hotel is very safe, has a central position and a manager (Mr. Mohammed Ali Jasbi) is extremely helpful. Bearing in mind that it is Iran, it's not a bad place to stay.
One funny thing - upon checking in I was given a TV remote control together with a key. And when I was checking out - I had to bring it to the reception
