La Pavillion is terrible. The price ($50/night) in the location (Hamra) might make it seem worth it, but it's not. The rooms are filthy. They don't even empty the garbage cans between visitors, much less change the sheets. My room had some sort of terrible moldy-sewage smell. The mirror was broken. The toilet didn't flush. The hot water didn't work. The staff are like something out of the Addams Family. Seriously, I can't really express my displeasure with this place strongly enough. It is cheap, though. more
