The hotel is huge and has an outsanding infrastructure..Everything you could want in a resort ,in the heart of the city..it also has impossibly small rooms for a five star hotel..poor breakfast in a brown dark restaurant..and beautiful pool where locals gather to be and to be seen.. more

Fantastic location. I loved the fact that the lifeguards always alert especially when the children go in the pool. I was checking the place to see if I should bring my kids next summer. I sure will after seeing the alertness level and the nice personalities the workers have. I'm a fan and I highly recommend it to families. more

No matter what it advertises, this Movenpick is not passionately Swiss. Sometimes the staff was friendly, prompt, and helpful. At other times it seemed as though they just couldn't be bothered. Loved Movenpick in Beirut, and I look forward to returning...it may very well be the best fitness center/spa/health center in Beirut? We were given two connected rooms, and were suppose to stay for 5 days. We checked out the following day. Stained carpets and smelly toilets with insects crwaling made me sick all day. They apologized and suggested that they give me another cleaner room, but the one night experience put me off totally. more

The hotel is clean The breakfast was excellent and pool is the reason we chose this hotel. But the pool boys want tipping all the time otherwise the service is slow, Beirut works by who tips the most, Also there should be a kids free zone for guest who want to chill by the pool without all the screaming kids... more

I've stayed here on two trips to Beirut and highly recommend it. It's a big complex right on the seafront slightly out of the town center. But you can still easily walk to neighborhoods such as Hamra and Verdun, as well as along the corniche to the pigeon rocks. It's very much a Swiss hotel and doesn't have any middle... more
