This is one of the worst surprises I have ever had. This hotel is a total scam. It gives you the impression that it is a 4 stars hotel, where it is actually barely a two stars. Even though it is never equivalent to a four star in Europe or America it offers good amenities including a small pool and OK service in a great location. It's good if you want to explore Central Beirut's burstling Muslim quarter, Hamra. The staff is reserved and parking is difficult but the rest is definitely worth the rate. more
