The Corniche is one of the several older hotels which rim the corniche and overlook the harbor at Muttrah. This place has a great location,friendly staff and is spotlessly clean.For OR22 we had parking,breakfast for 2,double bed,en-suite,A/C,fridge towels...from here you can visit all the sights in central muscat and you're within a few mins of great food&drinks&shopping at the souk,plus close to Ruwi(more commercial shopping.)you're also 7OR from ODC or al Jissa for fancy resort beaches. more

I can only confirm that Corniche hotel is number one place to stay in Mutrah. We were very lucky to find a room in mid-Jan as most of other budget hotels were fully booked. Great location in Mutrah , right on the north end of the corniche. It's less than a 1km from the Mutrah Souk , about 4km from Old Muscat. The scenery of the location is to be had.
