We recently selected this hotel for part of a business trip, enticed by the location and a special price in a city fast becoming really expensive. The clue should have been in the over-the-top reviews. This is one of the most unwelcoming hotels I have ever used and apart from the location (although most people have never heard of it) and the room sizes, has little else to recommend it. Even at the rate we paid it was vastly overpriced. When we asked for a map of Doha to assist with planning, they produced one from the safe which was selotaped together and told us we could only borrow it for 20 minutes!. The newspapers are only in reception and are stapled together. Probably 2 star at best. Avoid unless you really cant afford alternatives. more
