I was in Damascus on September 2011, My assistant booked me at Beit Zafran Hotel. and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Most of the time you feel like you're the only one there,. The staff are amazing. Mr. Nour Moftah the hotel manager who met several time achieves the right balance between helpful, inquisitive and discreet. Beit Zafran may not... More

We had no real idea what to expect of this little hotel but it well and truly exceeded our hopes. The location is great in the old historical centre of Damascus and it is in easy walking distance of just about anywhere you might want to go. Service from thenfront desk was really good, helping to organize tours to the countryside... More

We stayed here for three nights in April 2011, and were hoping we wouldn't be disappointed, as it was one of the most expensive hotels we'd ever chosen to stay in. In short, we weren't! We were travelling with a 21 month old, and the hotel provided a room on the ground floor (easy access with buggy), a large cot... More

At the end of April we decided to go on the trip through Syria and Lebanon we had been so much and so long looking for. Of course we were worried but as my wife said on the plane home "I'm so glad we did it!" A considerable part of the pleasant memories we have taken with us from this... More

We started our holiday at the Beit Zafran and it was our base while on our private tour we had booked with Nawafir Tours who get all the credit for making our reservations. Atmosphere wow ,service , decor , roof top breakfast attention to detail the Beit Zafran has it all a credit to Syrian hospitality. Location in old Damascus... More

This small gem is in the heart of old Damascus. It is an old palace beautifully restored. The courtyard with the fountain is a heaven to relax in when coming back from hustling, bustling Damascus. Good restaurants all in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on the rooftop. I would stay there anytime... More

We spent 4 nights here and used it as a base to explore the city. It felt like a wonderful home to return to after each full day of sightseeing. Breakfast on the terrace provided a great start. There are several good restaurants we could walk to in the evening. And the staff couldn't be more helpful and solicitous. An... More

In this case, not a description of Prince Charming but the place he might live in. My mother and I spent ten days enjoying the sanctuary and romanticism of this impeccably restored Beit Arabi in the heart of the Old City. Each room is unique - one is even inscribed in calligraphy and poetry, just one of the many personal... More

My family and I stayed at Beit Zafran Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was good , it is located at dead end walk way which make car access difficult , it is 2 minutes walk from the bustling main street with a lot of shops and resturants , a very pleasant walk to many of Damascus bazars , you... More
