I booked the Executive Floor after reading the previous reviews of the rooms condition. To my expectation, the executive room is newly renovated but not up to the 5 star hotel standard. Poor finishing, broken power outlets, etc. The front desk staff (the locals and foreigners) provide cold service which is not a standard in Sheraton hotels. It was real... more

On my second trip to Yemen I used the Sheraton as apposed to the Movenpick mainly to get my Sheraton points and assumed the hotels would be of a similar status. The thing is the Sheraton is about 25 years old and the Movenpick is nice and new and unfortunaltey the Sherton is now showing its age. To be fair... more

nice hotel, but not Sheraton standard... clean rooms, nice food, breakfast is full of varieties. the pool is great, the sun is just waiting for you. as for the location its in an isolated area, you need a taxi to go any place. more

Having travelled all over the country for a week and stayed in some pretty basic places (no water, dirty beds etc.) decided that for my last night it would be worth $100 to stay somewhere nice to be assured of decent facilities etc. before flying hiome. Wrong! Room was OK but certainly not 5 star and not that clean either... more

Went there,to play a football game. National team of Hong Kong. Being a 5 star Hotel, in the middle east where the punishment for theft and crime is pretty barbaric, I did not expect my money to get stolen.. left the room to play the match , on returning, found all my money missing. The money was in my trousers... more

Please do not be fooled by the corporate website, and the fake pics, this was without a doubt the worst most run down hotel of all of Yemen's "elite" hotels. It was very dirty, the heat/Air conditioner in the hotel was Not working, the rooms had insect problems, and I was over charged from the $75 I was qouted on... more

I have stayed in the Sheraton Sana'a for a number of times between 2006 and 2008. The rooms in every Sheraton are the same so that doesn't matter. only point is that in every hotel, there are always water leaks in the bathroom and also thus in the Sharaton. The service is very good (now they have Russian front desk... more

The hotel is located in a nice, quiet location. The lobby and facilities are fairly good. The rooms are not super clean (you would not like to walk barefoot on the carpet) but i did not mind as i was there for a short trip. You might think again if you are planning a vacation, in such a case the... more

Stayed for two nights in Sheraton Sana'a (11-12 Oct '07). After spending a night at a boutique hotel in the old quarters of Sana'a, I needed to relax at a regular hotel! The check-in was quite disappointing...bell boy had to be called repeatedly although no other customers at the check-in. However the friendly duty manageress a Russian lady "Ludmillah" was... more
