Great little hidden gem, away from the crazyness of Punta del Este Rodrigo and his family welcomed us as friends in their house. They always organise something in the evening. We just got back from a great stay at La Lomita in Punta del Este. Punta tends to be WAY out of the price range of most people, but thanks to the great family that runs this guest house, it doesn't have to be so. I recommend people to stay at La Lomita del Chingolo. Rodrigo(owner) and his wife made us feel as being at home. Rooms were comfortable and the house was extremely clean with daily room services. Close to beach, cheap, very cute. Had an amazing cook-out one night. Me and a few of my friends are studying abroad in Buenos Aires and we took a little weekend getaway at La Lomita del Chingolo and we had an awesome time and were welcomed into the home. Very clean. Recommend Highly. more

I stayed 3 days because of business matters. The guest was more than kind, he is ver friendly, an awesom person and cares about every detail you need. we were there for 5 days and we had a great stay beautifull house ,decent rooms, and the best asados! very close from brava beach and punta shopping center the owners , a young couple, knows wat they are doing very good option for young couples more
