The location is beautiful. Huge sweeping grounds witl gold, tennis and lots of space to just walk and relax, facing a lake, on which you can boat. My husband was invited to speak a conference in Uruguay so being the good wife that I am I tagged along for the ride. beautiful location but very poor service. There is no manager or anyone to whom you can complain. Restaurant was full of flies and very dirty. The service "all inclusive" was very bad. more
Nice property, with poor service. The room was very spacious and with a beautiful view to a lake. At least 30 minutes drive from Punta del Este and 1 hour drive from the best beaches. If you don't want to spend too much ina a hotel, this is a good deal, but, unless you are there for golfing, be prepared... more
So anyway, we were desperate to find accommodation in Punta and this was the best we could get. We were scared of going to the Barcelo after reading the previous review, but had a wedding there so we opted to stay.
