La Capilla is a delightful hotel. I just don’t understand some of the reviews on this site. The hotel has nice grounds, a terrific and fashionable swimming pool area, a quiet and restful location in a beautiful residential neighborhood, and is convenient to a nearby beach and to both La Barra and to central Punta. What a terrible dump, motel 6 - is a place in comparison with this "4 stars hotel" and the restaurant is a good match to this hotel! more

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and ... it was the worst hotel we ever stayed. We got a room on the first floor and the smell in the room was terrible. I believe it is mildew, or something like it... We asked to for another room and we were offered 2 other rooms, which were not too... more

La Capilla is a great hotel in the San Rafael area of Punta. The staff is very sweet and helpful and the hotel has a very warm feel to it. It is nicely decorated and very clean. It is a short walk to the beach and a 5 min. cab ride to the center of Punta. Overall, I would definately... more

We stayed at La Capilla over New Year's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The smaller rooms are tiny, with little or no closet space. The bigger rooms ($50 more) are a reasonable size, but wholly lacking in charm. The food at the restaurant is mediocre at best.
