I was backpacking with friends when I heard about the wild rover irish hostel, and missing home a little I decided to check it out for a few days - I ended up staying 10 days! The beds were so comfortable and clean, and they had REAL duvets! You can get Barrys tea and even tayto crisps at the bar ( they are even tastier in bolivia than at home!) and the bar food's really good! They have hot showers - the only ones I got on my entire trip, and it seemed like every time I went into the bathrooms there was someone cleaning so they were spotless! The staff were really nice and helpful, myself and some other guests in the hostel were even brought out and back by the hostel bar staff a few nights as we wern't sure of where to go. Some of the best nights of my trip were in the Wild Rover- I don't know if I'll be able to return but I'll certainly never forget it!! more
