Great hotel with all the amenities you would expect in the newest (5 years old +/-) luxury hotel in La Paz. The rooms are air conditioned with indvidual climate controls. Insulated glass keeps the noise out. Breakfast buffet is beautiful and included in the price of your room. The dinner menu in the hotel restuarant is excellent. Watch the salad... more

This was my first stay in La Paz and someone else booked me in on this hotel. It was a good choice. The rooms are clean and interesting with an interior which reflects the curved architecture on the outside. There is no separate bar/coffe bar in the hotel. The dining room doubles as both bar and breakfast room. Altitude is... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night. I didn’t know what to expect of La Paz, being the highest Capital City in the World, I had visions of it being on top of a mountain. In reality, it’s at the bottom of a big basin and the airport is just off the top of the rim. The Taxi ride... more

Camino Real is a great option for those wanting to stay in the residential south part of town. The Hotel is on a main avenue but the room we stayed in was quiet and well insulated. We were facing away from the main street and were on the 4th floor. Because the hotel is circular in shape all the rooms... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in a junior suite. We were surprised to find it is not air conditioned. The day we arrived was quite sunny and the room was quite hot (naturally). Once we realised we could open the window and use the overhead fan, we could cool it down ok. The nights were cool in La... more

Loved this hotel. Was close to many restaurants and in a nice area of town where you felt safe using the ATMS. Beautiful room, good service, free coca tea, free internet, and quiet. Would stay again for sure. more

Our stay at the Camino Real was spoiled by an unpleasant experience at check-in. We arrived late in the evening having travelled for 14 hours from Puno with a visit to the Sun Island enroute. We were very tired and weary. The four night reservation had been made and paid for in full through Agoda who had issued a voucher... more

This hotel is OK by U.S. standards, but from what I understand, it far exceeds expectations for a Bolivian hotel. Overall, I had a good stay. The room was comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the free wi-fi and overall cleanliness of the accommodations. The restaurant was very good, serving top quality meats at VERY reasonable prices. I strongly recommend ordering the... more

After trekking in peru and decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel. We were so impressed with the room and the quality of service we ended up staying an extra 2 nights. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They sent some souvenirs back to ireland with dhl for me, which saved me looking around for a post office.... more

This hotel has great location, rooms and restaurant. The staff does not really have a service orientation, but they respond to requests and eventually get them right. The location is in Zona Sur, the lowest part of the city (thus, less of an altitude sickness problem) and the wealthiest and safest neighborhood (not that any part of the city is... more
