The bar is packed and noisy with all the stereo typicals that give backpackers a bad name. I was offered drugs twice. Once by a gringa whom seemed to work at the place. This is a typical party hostel and for some (mostly males in their early 20s) its just perfect. For me, it was awful. This particular place is just opened but they never even bothered to put a new coat of paint on the walls. Its over-all just kind of dingy. Another great hostel by Loki, still in the process of being converted from a hotel. Great location just of the main street. La Paz is not a great twon for young people with most of the socalising being confined to the hostel bar. Good food selection and cheap drink more
