I generally agree with what everyone has said here. Abadia is clean, comfortable, charming, economical and located near many of the attractions in La Candaleria. The staff was very nice but, aside from the owner, did not speak a word of English. Still, we managed to communicate via Google Translate. I stayed in Abadia Colonial for 3 nights, at the start of my trip around Colombia. It is centrally located in the old part of town, and is within walking distance of most of the major cultural attractions, and historical buildings in old Bogota.
