This was my second stay (1st in Nov 07) at Hostal Bogota Real. The staff there are very friendly and as other reviewers mentioned, helpful with internet access and washing if required. Quiet, safe neighborhood location in Northern Bogota surrounded by small parks. This hostal is a well kept 2-story house with nicely decorated interior.
