Stayed at the Roraima Residence Inn for a week. in '07. Only Good experiences to report from 'reservation' to 'check-out'.

Small hotel with 11 rooms, but everything worked in the room - the Hot / cold water, A/C, comfortable bed, security, TV, locked box (safe), internet port, and with fresh bathroom towels and housekeeping daily, etc.

The staff are all great, and provides good customer service.
Good location, with easy access to old Georgetown. Best of all: there were NO mosquitos at this location (during my stay).

There is a restaurant in the hotel. Continental Breakfast is included in the daily rate. A Lunch / Dinner menu is offered.

Registered Taxis in Georgetown are still G$240.00, for trarvel anywhere in the city (this is less than US$2.00 - WOW).
Fare to the airport was G$3,500.00 - aprox. US$17.50 (I used Diplomat Taxi service). Beware of the unregistered taxis, since they will charge more than the registered services. more
