I booked a one week stay at the Guest Lodge on short notice with a travel agent. The booking was advertised "Palau on a Budget" out of a San Diego travel agency that caters to scuba divers. I was not disappointed. In fact I was rather impressed with the property. The hotel is a short walk off the main street and busy area of downtown Koror - yet close enough to the restaurants and stores and far enough to avoid noise and traffic.
The rooms are large enough for two people. The rooms come with cable tv, refrigerator, phone with unlimited local calls,and efficient air-conditioning. The staff does a good job of keeping the place very clean and are very helpful and friendly. The package came with dives with Fish and Fins which offered pick up and drop off at the motel. No question. If you want to dive Palau, this motel is a great place to stay. No frills, but safe, quiet and comfortable. more
