We arrived at the cottage in the afternoon. The road (which one reviewer mentioned ) has been already built. It is in perfect condition and in an hour long drive you may see one or two cars. This part of the island ( basically from north of the airport ) is completly empty. It is klike a jungle. I believe Hawaii looked like this probably a hundred years ago.
The cottage is very nice , made of local wood. It has perfect AC wall unit system and a refrigerator. Really lovely.
You can kayak during the day which is amazing. (if the tide is very low you can not)
They also offer a lot of activities, waterfall , sunset watching etc.
The service is great , however the menu is limited and there is reallly nowhere to go out. I ordered sashimi which was frozen. Other than that the meal was good. You can get fresh fruit from the backyard. (passion fruit, pineapple etc.)
One problem is that you have to purhcase wine by the bottle not by glass...
