We just returned from Palau and had a blast. We stayed at PPR upon the recommendation of co-workers and friends. PPR has a private beach, walking trail, pool, salt water fish ponds, tennis courts and a gym. The restaurant serves buffet and ala carte and probably is in the top 5 dining on Palau--and reasonable priced. Other great restauarants in... more

Very well kept rooms, clean and orderly, grounds well kept. Good room views and quiet. Neat history being on an old Japanese seaplane base. Easy access to town. Meals pricey, but good. Many other restaurants a cab ride away. All Scuba and Snorkeling operations will pick up at dock or in bad weather at front of hotel. Good office, desk... more

Several years ago, I remember seeing an Imax film about the Pacific and a particular segment of the film really caught my attention. The island of Palau seemed to be only a dream. Little did I know that one day that dream would be realized! Palau Pacific Resort in Koror was our choice for resting our heads. PPR was situated... more

Breakfast is beyond amazing. Anything you can possible thing of is being served for breakfast. Hotel is beautiful. Beach spectacular. Most amazing sunset you will ever see!!!!!!!!!!! The spa is probably the best I have ever been to. After a day of diving hanging out by the pool and jacuzzi was just perfect. The staff could not do enough for... more

I expected Palau to be more friendly, but at PPR the people at the desk are very rude. You can not check in early or check out late. Normally not a bid deal, but all flights arrive around 3-4 am, and depart 12-1 am. If you want to stay in your room after check out they wanted to charge me... more

We stayed at PPR in Feb 09 and realized very quickly that we had indeed found paradise. Despite travelling for some 36 hours to get here, check in was smooth as was the whole of our stay. We booked a junior Suite which was worth the extra costs with amazing views overlooking the ocean and jetty. Breakfast each morning was... more

I'm not sure what resort the reviewer who hated PPR stayed at, but it wasn't here. This is a wonderful resort. Its not a 5 Star experience, but that doesn't exist in Micronesia. Its a beautiful South Pacific experience. My wife and I spend a week there earlier this month and can't wait to go back. No, its not cheap,... more

My husband and I and a group of our friends were in Palau for a scuba diving vacation and we stayed at this wonderful resort. The service was fantastic. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The resort is lush and beautiful with a great beach and pool area. They have a great salt water pond in the garden area... more

After reading some of the unfavourable reviews posted earlier, I felt a little apprehensive about staying here. However, I can happily report that I did not experience any of the problems mentioned at all. On the contrary, the staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and polite. Airport transfers, check-in and check-out procedures were all fine and without any hassles. We... more

Although Palau is undeveloped, this hotel is outstanding. We stayed in an oceanfront room with a great view of the Pacific. The room exceeded my expectations, the grounds were beautiful, gardeners very talented, orchids everywhere, beautiful beach with great snokleing, cabanas, unbrellas, lounge chairs, unique style, clean pool with food and drink service, great food at the restaurant, entertainment during... more
