We stayed at this hotel when our tour operator told us the Grand Hotel "was full". It was far from Grand in anyhting but the prices.

They have studio apartments some of which are very large and spacious. But virtually every unit our group stayed in had problems. One room had no newspapers for windows, one no water, I spent the night in 27C heat an that was with the airconditioner on full blast! Still, the rooms were reasonably clean.

The entrance to the hotel is very unpreposessing and there is a tiny pool of dubious water color very poular for Congolese weddings ad birthday parties so you might not sleep too well with a room overlooking that part of the hotel.

Food is of poor quality and takes forever to arrive. I found the cook drunk and slumped across a kitchen table in the morning with beer bottles strewn around him. The kitchen was very unappetizing and the cook simply wiped the utensils he was using across table cloths to clean... more
