So far I can only compare the Memling Kinshasa and the Grand Hotel Kinshasa. Memling is way better. Memling rooms are actually 5 star rooms, GH is rather 3 star in European standards. I've now stayed in Kinshasa hotels several times. I now choose the Memling each time, much higher standards then the Grand Hotel. Breakfast is expensive (at $27) but good and there's plenty of it. Must say I was slightly positively surprised -- to the better from have had read TA reviews. The lobby section looks OK, actually in line with any Holiday Inn/Ibis equivalence.
