I stayed here for 5 nights en route to/ from a safari up North to see the lowland gorillas and chimpanzees and to Central African Republic. (Local flights are very unreliable so factor this into your travel plans.)
This is a 200 room hotel in the center of Brazzaville. It's a 15 minute cab ride (2,000 CAF or about $5) from the airport and right next to the French Embassy and around the corner from the Total offices along the banks of the Congo.
The rooms are clustered around a quiet courtyard with a small swimming pool and they have nightly music (acoustic guitar and saxophone). Most of the guests are African and European business people.
The hotel started up in 2002 but as is typical in Africa looks older. Rooms are small with a drak green carpet and windows opening onto the courtyard--you need to close the curtains if you don't want others looking in.
