MARRIOT CAIRO Check-in was fairly rapid but nothing exceptionally warm or welcoming. The paper work for checking in took longer than in a standard "Western Hotel" but then again, in some countries the check-in bureaucracy is fairly heavy. The hotel itself is quite a complex and according to the hotel information booklet the largest hotel in the Middle East. It... more

This hotel was totally comfortable and a great refuge from the pollution and chaos of cairo. We had a beautiful room when we first arrived overlooking the river, but when we returned were given an extremely noisy room. However, they were fully booked, and we required nonsmoking so this can be excused. The gardens are very nice, and the atms,... more

The Marriott is a great option in Cairo for business and leisure travel. Its location on Zamalek island puts you within walking distance to many restaurants and shops, so you don't feel isolated - which I sometimes experience in large hotel compounds. Try using the back door through the small parking lot, and you're steps away from 26th July street... more

Seriously was close to steal the cushions and the blankets as they were incredible (didn’t do it thought) I got a Nile view room which was great Only thing that I didn’t like is such a great historical place doesn’t contain a world class restaurant? I mean they do have restaurants but average ones But will defiantly go there again more

Stayed at the Cairo Marriott and was very happy. Paid more for an Executive Room and it was definitely worth it. A great breakfast was included, along with dinner and a late-night snack. Only ate dinner there once and ate at Egyptian Nights, which was great and JW Steakhouse, which was also very good. This hotel is like a resort.... more

We were here for 6 nights as part of an Egypt tour, so we didn't have any choice in our rooms or locations. However, it could not have been better. Hotel is beautiful, and has all the perks you could wish for. Outdoor cafes, casino, indoor restaurants, excellent food, and great rooms. The rooms are lovely with sparkling white linens... more

We stayed at the this Hotel for 1 night in September 2009 and were very impressed. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Nile, was very well appointed and was up to a 5 star Hotel (unlike many in Egypt)! We paid extra to go on the executive floor which allows you access to the executive lounge which is well... more

We stayed in this beautiful Hotel with our two adult children in another room & found everything about the Hotel of a very high standard, lovely & clean, especially when surrounded by the dust & dirt of Cairo. The service was excellent as were the meals in the different restaurants. Both adult children work in the Hotel industry, one in... more
