I liked the hotel and the view of the Nile from my room. The place was quite clean and I had no cause for concern other than the fact that everyone smoked in the corridor, although I think this is more the way it is done in Egypt and has nothing to do with the hotel itself. more

Fantastic, elegant and comfortable hotel - very slick. I loved the luxurious entrance and the general quality of the rooms. Our room had 2 large beds, big chairs and a great bathroom and the staff were also friendly. However, this wasn't the good thing about the Conrad. The good thing was the location - we stayed on the 12th floor... more

My wife and I stayed at the Conrad for 8 nights and our 26 year old daughter flew over from Athens where she was in the middle of a world backpacking trip to join us, ha ha . We had two queen size beds which was an arrangement that suited us fine. The beds and pillows were very confortable and... more

It's a bit farther north than most of the attractions, so you need to cab it most places (which is probably better any way). Restaurant was just OK, concierge lounge on the executive level was one of the best I've seen and the food there was great. Transportation from the airport (in a Mercedes) was about $30. However, make sure... more

Stayed at the Conrad in April over the Easter weekend, for a week. Stayed in executive rooms. Had breakfast and tea in the excutive lounge. Breakfast was limited and not very much for vegerians. We requested some vegetarian options but these would take up to half an hour to get to us. We had rooms service several times and the food... more

We were just here and loved it! They staff are very pleasant, helpful and courteous. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. I can't really speak to location since we had a driver so walking and public transportation were not an issue. Just beware: all hotels in Egypt add 25% tax! more

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of May. We booked the room on the Conrad website. It never mentioned that the hotel was undergoing renovations, which meant that all but 1 restaurant was open and pounding began at 9AM. The service was totally inconsistent. One afternoon we tried without success to reach either guest services... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We arrived via local black and white taxi cab after being bombarded by twenty taxi drivers in the airport. It was an hour drive with major traffic. Driver said he knew our hotel location but still ended up asking for directions. Driving and traffic is crazy in Cairo. There... more

A five star hotel set up mainly for the conference and buisiness market. situated fronting onto the Nile and next to the World Trade Centre in Cairo. The staff were efficient but not really very freindly. The restaurants are in the process of being refurbished so all meals needed ot be taken in just one restaurant. The prices of nearly... more
