The room reeked of smoke. even though non-smoking was requested. The Sheraton is a 2 towers hotel very close to the Nile. 5 minutes to the next metro station, 15 minutes to the Egyptian museum. Rooms are big even if a bit "old style". Lobby is very nice and has some convenient shops inside (newspapers, clothes...). more

I stayed here on 2 occasions in October.( 2 and 3 night stays). The hotel was prepaid by my travel agent. On both occasions I had a room with a good sized balcony and view of the Nile.
