I dont recognise some of the reviews on this site - this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. Its a modern hotel finished with an impressive standard of decor. There are plenty of staff on hand and everyone was friendly and helpful when I asked them for anything.( I interacted with drivers, bell boys, reception, concierge,... more

I stayed here for 2 nights with business. I have stayed in a number of places in Cairo and this is by far my favourite to date. The room was great and even better was the outside bar. I would recommend it as a place to stay. more

We were at a business conference there. Nice hotel, attached to hugh and pricey shopping mall. Rooms are top. Lounges, spacious, nice and large pool and spa area. Staff is friendly. more

This hotel is beautiful, fun and WOW! My three daughters loved it! The staff was pleasant, but a bit short. After 12 days in the Middle East, I was used to being treated this way. The security is extremely high and sets a tone to the staff. However, the check in was slow but polite and upgraded us to a... more

After reading the reviews on tripadvisor I was extremelty concerned, however none of the negative things that others have complained of occurred during our trip. We booked 5 nights at the InterCon Citystars, with a further 2 later in a 2 bedroom residence suite which was huge. In fact, they gave us a 3 bedroom suite with 3 bathrooms. We... more

Very rude staff and inefficient management. Not a suitable or friendly place for families and/or children. Expect check-in and check-out to take at least an hour. We've been to Egypt many times and this was by far, the worst place we've ever stayed at. more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip to Cairo. The hotel managed to loose my reservation but they had a room available (strangely enough they picked me up from the airport - how can they loose my room reservation but have a pick-up service...). The first room a had was facing the street - a bad... more

Reception Very Poor, slow, rude and very unresponsive. Location is great for a brief visit to Cairo if you want to do some shopping next door at City Stars and you will need to mall map that's available in your room. Room smelt like industrial disinfectant, but at least it was clean. The restaurants were good, the breakfast is average... more

Stayed here while in Cairo on business and was definitely a quiet haven even during Ramadan. I stayed in the poolside complex which i preferred (a colleague had a room in the main warren of the hotel) as i was very close to the pool and close to the gym. tip of the day..if you get back in time the... more
