While in Cairo last month, stayed at the Noran Hotel at Mohd. Khalaf Street in Dokki. For a 3 star hotel the rooms and bathroom were very clean. What was outstanding however was the location - tucked away in a small bylane off the main Tahrir road the hotel was a 2 minute walk from the Dokki subway station which proved to be our preferred mode of transport in Cairo - away from the bustling traffic on the roads. Lovely bakeries and small fast food places and a supermarket all in walking distance!
