The Ramses II has an excellent downtown location, and because it's on the 12th floor, it was very quiet. The staff is helpful, our room was clean, there was no problem with hot water, and the internet use was fast and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place as a centrally located budget hotel. more

Staff is very friendly and yes they are a little pushy with selling tours, but it's real the best you could do. Tour guide Hebba is fantastic. New A/C bus. I would highly recommend this to anyone. more

Ramses II is probably the best hotel for the price we found in the whole of Egypt. Our room was really big and had a standard Egyptain bathroom and a balcony. The beds were big and comfy.
