I have been to Las Vegas a dozen times and usually stay at MGM Grand, Mandalay or the Venetian. I was traveling with a group and we decided to stay at Caesar's. BIG MISTAKE! You walk in to a beautiful, but very confusing lobby with signs pointing every which way.
Check in was fast, efficient and we were excited to get to our luxurious rooms. WRONG> As soon as we got off the elevator in the Forum Towers, we were disappointed. The hallways were dingy, with stained carpets, a heavy smoke smell, and worn, dirty paint on the doors and hallways. Several doors were nicked and dinged like a $50/night hotel. We prayed our room would be better maintained than the hallways and doors we passed. Unfortunately, the room was small with two double beds with thin bedspreads, two foam pillows on each bed, no desk or area to relax and a view of the Rio.
