My son and I stayed at the International Hot Springs Hotel as a stopping-off point for visiting camping in the Black and White Deserts. The hotel was clean but fairly basic. Stayed two nights here. Good food, fairly firm but comfortable bed, adequate bathroom. Hotel does not supply bottled water but sells it very cheaply. Hotel was very quiet except for noisy party one evening at dinner. Food was excellent. Lovely surroundings. more

I went with my Japanese girl friend to Baharia, I am Egyptian living in the US, we didn't reserve and we almost had to go back to Cairo because all hotels are booked. An excellent resort in Bawiti - Oasis of Bahariya. Clean, nice rooms, an in-ouse hot spring, excellent buffet restaurant, nice garden. The owner (Peter) came here from native Germany years ago, and arranged for us an unforgettabke white desert safari, and the challenging trip to Siwa (11 hours...).
