The highlight of this hotel is the exquisite service! Everyone is incredibly helpful, kind, and gracious. Some of the other reviews were negative about how this hotel is not up to other Four Seasons standards. This hotel is the older of the two Four Seasons hotels in the Cairo area. The only negatives for our entire stay is that our... more

This was a beautiful hotel and a lovely quiet room. We were attahced to a tour and only spent one night, but after nearly 24 hours in airports and on planes, we were able to get much needed rest. The basics of the room were there plus robes, slippers and wonderful linens. I would recommend it for those beginning or... more

While this hotel was very good, expected better of Four Seasons. The staff is very attentive, bathrooms are big with great amenities, the rooms sizes and views vary. Be sure to get a nice view, many rooms are blocked by the First Residence condo building between the hotel and the Nile. There is also a tenement-type building on one side... more

This was the begging of a visit to Egypt to celebrate our 25 th wedding anniversary with 4 nights at the First residence. From the moment we arrived by Private transfer from the airport we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were fantastic, our delux room on the 19 th floor had super views... more

My wife, son and I stayed at the Four Seasons Cairo First Residence for three nights in February 2008. During the same trip, we also stayed at the Four Seasons Cairo Nile Plaza and the Four Seasons Amman, which are reviewed separately. The Good: There was a coziness about the First Residence that made us feel as if we were... more

For a normal hotel, it would be excellent but for a Four Seasons it was a bit lacking. The rooms were the usual lovely FS ones, and the attitude of the staff were excellent. Unfortunately there did seem to be an understaffing issue which could be because we stayed at Christmas when the hotel was completely full. This meant that... more

We stayed for 3 nights in January and were very impressed by the enormous rooms, the outstanding service and the decor of the hotel. We rang to the restaurant on the morning of my husband's birthday, and despite having 5 minutes notice a personalised cake was produced and the entire restaurant staff sang Happy Birthday. A three layered box of... more
