Decided to try something different and stay at AnaKato. Had a great experience exploring the Nubian town and the food and service at AnaKato was both delicious and (as far as I can tell) authentic. If you're open to an experience of more of than just staying at a hotel, this is a great option.

I have visited sooo many places in Egypt, but Anakato is my favorite place ever :D Such a peaceful, exciting place with great food and wonderful Nubian people... I would go there again and again. A place where air smells different and the Nile is how you always imagine to see. it is just PERFECTION

I think its an amazing spot, the view is beautiful and the people are so helpful, I used to go with my 4 years old daughter and it was safe and very inspiring for my work. Also, the food is delicious and they can help you to organise any trip during ur stay

I would stay there every trip. Went there twice already for new year eve and they were peaceful relaxing trips. Love Shyma, Love Shambo. Food is amazing, rooms are basic which is really the point. At night the mood is great peaceful and serene.

No words would describe this place ... it is the most beautiful spot in the Nubian village, you get to experience the true spirit of Aswan from those cute kids in the village up to the beautiful scenery. We had the most peaceful time of our lives staying at AnaKato, watching birds, feeling nature at its best, mud baths, swimming in the River Nile, listening to authentic music and enjoying the friendly staff company, etc.....it was a great experience and I can't wait to go there again.
