Location is very good, near Nile and the amazing Souk. Also roof with swimmingpool is very nice. Rooms are small, some bitter. Most rooms have a balcony, but no window. If you open the balcony door it is very noisy and many mosquitos. The rooms were not clean, espcially bathroom. One bathroom was flooded, one was dirty toilet. Electricity is...

Hotel is very close to the Train station and the main market. Rooms are OK and restaurant is decent. We booked the Abu Simbel trip from the hotel. We were put up in the tour bus on extra seats which were pretty uncomfortable. So in case you do book the tour through the hotel, ensure that you get proper (the...

We were disapointed that we had booked this hotel through "bookings.com" and they had not received our booking. We had also requested the larger room but in the end had to settle for a smaller room (although at "half price") which was unpleasant and uncomfortable. We faced the street so it was incredibly noisy all night.
They also did not...

Our room wasn't brilliant, The balcony was tiny and the view of the next rooms protruding air con unit left a lot to be desired (see photo) We pushed the twin beds together and uncovered about 2 years worth of dust and debris underneath. Breakfast - a pre-made plate of cheese, bread and boiled eggs - was not good, but...

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was filthy- the bathroom was caked with fungus and mildew- it was filthy and dirty- floors were dirty and bed had old sheets. The morning breakfast was dry bread and a hard boiled egg- the place is in a dark dirty alley and is not worth the money- please stay away!!

Despite the not so good reviews, we booked this hotel for our stay in Aswan - there are not many options for a budget hotel in this town, so we thought we'll give a try. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised, our room was pretty OK and the hotel staff seemed nice too.
You have to bear in mind...

Likes: A/C in rooms, 1 minute walk to everything (nile, train station), very clean, comfortable beds, towels and soaps included, nice reception area and comfy chairs to sit on while you wait for your bus or your train after check out, cheap water/soft drinks on sale
Dislikes: no secure luggage storage, no lift to upper floors

We spent two nights in this very cheap upper class hotel next to the station.
The rooms are clean with AC, refrigerator and SAT-TV. Highlights, are for sure, the pool and the very cosy terrace on the rooftop, which is nubian-style held and handmade by the friendly owner.

The hotel gives new meaning to budget!
The hotel was extremely dirty, rooms where old and dated, bathrooms were so dirty and ugly that I was afraid to shower in there.
The dinning room was horrific with dirt everywhere, we skipped the so called breakfast.
On the upside, the location is brilliant and staff and very friendly.
