Stayed here in March before and after an amazing week on a dahabiya run by the same people. The hotel is charming and authentic. I felt spoiled by the way the staff treated us, attending to every little thing to make sure we were comfortable. And the food! My mouth still waters when I think about the incredible food. The... This is a lovely hotel run by the people from Nour el Nil and after a fantastic dahabiya ride with them, I wanted to see if their hotel was as good - and it is. Its far away from the crowds on the East Bank right beside Medinah Habu Temple, so you can nip in there in the morning before... More

we stayed here mid feb 2013 & enjoyed it very much! the rooms are big, stylish (I´d call it vintage), cosy (!), clean. Good food. Great 5th level roof top terasse- views: valley of queens, Habu Temple, rising hot air balloons at breakfast. After staying at "Winterpalace" and "Old Cateract" we did really enjoy the communicative atmosphere by the owners... More

Our Tour Guide recommended this Hotel and we were certainly not disappointed. We stayed here for 2 nights in February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was large and spacious with a separate bathroom. The shower although not enclosed did not present a problem and the water pressure was beautiful. The staff were fantastic - nothing was a problem.... More

We stayed there for a few nights while visiting Luxor in January 2013 and it made for a peaceful and beautiful contrast with the relative hustle and bustle of downtown Luxor. We dont recognise the review, prices, bed etc of one of the earlier reviews so either we got a better and cheaper room or they have improved things very... More

A building is under construction right across the street from the hotel. It makes for a very noisy environment. You will hear hammering all day until sunset, and workers yelling to each other. Not relaxing at all when you want to rest after a busy day of sightseeing. Also dogs bark all night and motorcycles run early in the morning.... More

• Excellent service provided all round - Mahmoud and Rajab deserve a special mention for going above and beyond to make our three night stay at the hotel enjoyable and comfortable. • Location is quiet and peaceful. 10 minute walk from an amazing restaurant Hapy Habou and other facilities. • Ambience – quaint and charming, decor was Nubian designs. •... We stayed 4 nights in this wonderful guest house. We enjoyed being in this West Bank village from which we could see the Valley of the Queens and one of the very best temples that we saw in all of Egypt -- Menedit Habu. As you will see from the photos, we were adjacent to a beautiful set of wheat... More

Beit Sabee gets mixed reviews from us. Finding Beit Sabee the first time is quite difficult. Our drivers spent 30 minutes trying to find it the first night. They were in contact via cell phone with the Hotel, but somehow had trouble understanding exactly where it was. We went past the police checkpoint several times in the dark as the... More

We stayed at Beit Sabee for six nights.and, while there are many positive things to say about it, we feel it is seriously over-priced for what it offers. Our large room was reasonably comfortable and reminded us of something we saw in Kathmandu in the 1970's. Being on the ground floor, it was always dusty if you wanted to open... More

To begin, thank you very much for your feedback--both the positive feedback and the constructive feedback. We always welcome both. I would like to take a moment to respond to a few of your comments, however, just to clarify for other viewers of this post: Regarding the dust, unfortunately it is a natural part of the Egyptian landscape and is...
