We had just come back from a 10-day long safari trip and had one more night to stay in Nairobi. Since the recommendable 'Wilderbeast Camp' was fully booked our driver recommended us this hole of a hotel which was nearby. Upon entry everything seemed fine: Secure and interesting wall panels in the lobby. Nobody offered us help with our luggage... more

Our stay at the Lanana Mount Hotel in Nairobi was necessary, but would not repeat the experience. The hotel is located in a safe area of town, the WestLands. Our room seemed so unsecured, but nothing was missing upon our return to the room. The towels and sheets were clean, the breakfast was shared with a few flies, but edible. more
