I stayed here for 10 nights in April. As a solo traveler, and one looking for a safe and comfortable place to lay my head at night, Whistling Thorns exceeded my expectations. I have been here before but only for lunch. I expected the rustic look of the dining room to transfer to the bedrooms but wasnt I shocked. The bathroom was especially horrible to say the least! They really need to spend some money to make the bathrooms better especially for the amount of money they charge! more
Great to have such a relaxed place so close to bustling Nairobi. On the other hand, I think the scenery/views is overrated in their website (thought the view on the Ngong Hills is nice).
