our trip was a great experience. we just finished doing a volunteer trip for 2 weeks roughing it out and then we were spoiled at the fairmont. it was a great experience starting with the flight into the masai mara. a nice friendly welcome with drinks and snacks and seeing our 4x4 was really exciting. the hotel was really luxurious.... After taking a charter flight from Nairobi to the local air strip, we were picked up by hotel vehicles (Landcruisers) and taken to the lodge area.
