Jambo ! On our recent safari to kenya we stayed in 3 different camps out of which Kicheche Bush camp was the Best. The prime thing to have when on safari is a good guide ..and Kicheche has the best guides in mara. Location : The location is perfect for personalized game viewing(not many people around) . When we landed... More

Every aspect of my 7 nights in Bush Camp were totally amazing. On arriving we were met by Nelson and Mark, our guides for the week. We saw the big 5 in under 30 hours so it couldn't have been better. The guides spotted, Lion, Cheetahs and Leopards I couldn't even see with binoculars! The occomodation was top notch too,... More

We stayed at the Kicheche bush camp for 4 nights in January and if I had my way I wouldn't have left! Firstly, we were met at the airport by our fantastic guide, James, who took us on a game drive on the way back to the camp. We were fortunate enough to see a leopard only a few yards... More

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in East Africa. We visited four camps and definitely rated Kicheche as the best. We used a rating scale with eight categories and they ended up with the highest score. The categories included management, accomodations, food, vehicles, driver/guide, etc. This was safari number six, so we have visited many camps in... More

Second visit to Kicheche Bush camp and just as good as last time. Superb camp staff, guides and managers Emma & Darren. Small personal camp, tents are big & comfortable. Food is fantastic (you won't go hungry) and some of it is from their own garden. As with all Kichche camps, guides and vehicles are brilliant for photography as well as... More

When we arrived at the airstrip we were taken straight off on a bush drive by James and Mark and within minutes had spotted a lioness stalking an impala! She didn't get it but it started our trip to Kicheche on such a high note and it got better and better from there. Emma and Darren were there to greet... More

Arriving at the OLK Airstrip we were met by our wonderful guide Nelson and his trainee assistant Mark. The drive to the camp in a well-fitted FWD vehicle took over an hour as we drove the long way to get a sense of the area. At the camp there was a very warm welcome from Darren and Emma who successfully... More

I went to Kicheche in February 2011 as a long weekend at the end of a business trip. I was collected from the Mara airstrip by Patrick (amazing guide!) and saw more wildlife in my 40 minute journey to camp than I had seen in 5 days in South Africa. The camp itself is beautiful and peaceful (except for the... More

Simply amazing ! Fantastic game drives, superb hosts & the most incredible experience. Accommodation is in tents - but this is nothing like the "camping" I know. Spacious tents, proper beds, terrace leading out onto the savannah, and bucket showers in case you forget for a moment that you are out in the wilds ... And smiling, attentive staff. For... More

I stayed at Bush Camp for the fourth time in November of this year. It was fantastic, as ever. Brilliant guides and a wonderful, small camp. The managers and staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful: the food is just great. If you are serious about viewing the incredible wildlife in the Mara, then this is just about the best... More
