Bit late in writing this, been back five weeks now. Stayed at L.G's for 3 nights. Very short plane ride into the camp, bonus as I hate small planes. Tents are large and always kept clean, animals right outside, breakfast and dinner outside buffet style, dinner always good. Stanley and Duncan exceptional service, thank you. Now down to the real... more

If you're wondering whether to book this safari then don't anymore, just book here. I had heard that it is supposed to be one of the best safaris in the world, in terms of what you will see in the game reserve - ridiculously game rich - and the lovely camp, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. It was our... more

We spent 4 nights at Little Governor's Camp and thought the place was excellent. All the staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is quite charming. The food is excellent and the staff catered really for my gluten free needs - nothing was too much trouble. The driver/guides work hard to ensure you see as much wildlife as possible. They... more

Spent 3 nights in the luxury of the camp and it was fantastic. The tents are roomy, clean and have all the luxuries you would expect and the best thing is there is no power in the tents. The location is incredible with animals wandering through the camp day and night (elephants, warthogs, buffallo, baboons) and you can hear the... more

Just returned from 2 nights in Samburu (Elephant Bedroom Camp) and 3 nights Little Governors. We booked the trip with Bryan of Allamana Safaris in Malindi. Bryan was extreemly helpful and worked wonders in organizing a few exras that we requested. We have stayed a number of times at Little Governors and Il Morin, but much prefer Little Governors as... more

I cannot praise this fantastic camp enough. Having never been on safari before, we were a little dubious at staying in tents within a camp with no perimeter fence to keep the wild animals out. Any fears we had disappeared immediately. On the initial drive from the air strip to Little Governors, we saw three of the big five, including... more

This place is a dream come true - genuinely. It was my first Safari and although I like to broaden my horizons, I'm going back to Little Governors (LG) for my second safari. I'm extremely picky and get annoyed very easily by sloppy service. I have to say that my partner was relieved that I wasn't moaning in the least.... more

We just returned from a 16 day stay in Kenya. e stayed at Larsen's Camp in Samburu which was great, but Little Governor's and the Maasai Mara area have much more to offer The wildlife viewing in the Mara was superb and Little Governor's Camp exceeded our expectations. While the tents were not overly luxurious, they were furnished nicely and... more
