The hotel and staff are excellent. The entertainment is good and the prices fair. However... the touts on the beach.. buy this.. buy that.. bothered, bothered, bothered.... Pain the back end... Humidity factor high so be prepared. more

Our five days here at the end of our safari were absolute relaxation. The staff seemed to outnumber the guests (we didn’t find out the occupancy levels) and made a real effort to help and get to know you. I stayed at the serena for 4 days. The grounds are very large with many places to hide away in quiet. The food and buffet was very good and I liked how it was a smaller hotel, it gave you a much more intimate experience. the staff and manager were all very friendly and were there if you needed anything.... more
