Although my tenth visit to Mombasa this was my first time at the Bamburi Beach Hotel. The staff at the hotel are great, nothing is too much trouble. we stayed at bamburi from 19th - 5th and despite mixed feelings we did enjoy it overall! FOOD food is adequate, probably to be expected as it is africa! some nights were better than others but we never went hungry :) ROOM basic but clean, dont trust the cleaners we had money stolen from our room! best to be locked... The stuff are freindly, food is good, the view is amazing but really very noisy after dinner when you need to sleep early because of the DJ it s palying till late and the voice is very laod even when u close your room it doesn't matter.

we have just returned from bamburi beach hotel on sunday 6th may 2013. we have never been to kenya before and we will most certainly be returning. the flight is very long..9 hours from gatwick but we upgraded to premier class and it was most certainly worth the extra cost, alot more comfortable seating and excellent service from the minute...
