Hi everyone! My family and I stayed at Sand Island for a week and no-one wanted to leave this little paradise! Its located DIRECTLY at the beach and you have a beautiful view from your verandah. Sheila is such a great person and was discrete but very friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful and has lots of trees(shade!) and it was nice for a little walk with my 2 and 4yr old kids. There are other cottages close by where you can have drink at the bar and meals but we all thought Sand Island was way much better! The staff was very, very friendly and that made our stay even better. We had asked Sheila to hire a good cook and she made a marvelous choice in Ali. His prawn curry was 6 stars!!!! As usual fish, fruit and vegetables were brought to our housedoor and there was a very charming Mahamri-Lady evrey day much to everyones delight.
