I went to this elephant camp as a freebie with our hotel (Travellers Beach Club) so we couldn't really grumble. Apart from the hairy scary jouney there along the bumby roads, I could not fault this trip. Yes there are only elephants there but it's an elephant safari so thats all we were all expecting to see. I found the food was fine, nothing special. We stayed in a tent equiped with an en suite bathroom, which was very accommodating. I also liked the idea of camping in the wilderness. If you're expecting a luxury hotel stay whilst you're on a safari then this is not the trip for you. If you're quite happy with the experience of camping out amonst all the animals then I would definetly reccomend it, as long as you go knowing there are only really elephants there. I would advise booking a different safari such as Tsavo or Koi if you are after seeing the big five etc. more

After checking in at the gate you game drive through the vast grounds towards the camp. The first time we did it in our own bus and the second time in their cramped safari vehicles - squashed in the back you don't see very much.

The camp has a small bar/restaurant/viewing area overlooking a watering hole. Very good close ups of the elephants that come to drink. Apart from...
