Here are my comments: 1) The staff's english is "substandard" at best, if anything out of the ordinary comes up (which did several times for me) expect to run into challenges in communication. I recently stayed at the Wenjin Hotel for business in January. The hotel is absolutely lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is not in the center of town but is near Google, Tsinghua and Peking University. It is also very close to some great restaurants and the subway station. At last, a hotel that does not only pretend to be high-class. The Wenjin hotel seems dead set on delivering what it promises. As I visited Beijing only for a week, and was very busy from morning to night, I can not rate all the "extras" available (lounges, restaurants, butler service...).
