Stayed here for a week, it was overall pretty comfortable. Very central to everything with great shopping areas, bars and restaurants nearby. The subway is a short walk away. A big thank you to Brian and Harrison for making my stay great, they went above and beyond their call of duty by helping me out!

The hostel is located 10 minutes walk away from the subway station line 2 (or line 1?). Will be 5 minutes walk when the new line open. Besides, the bus stop located right outside of the hostel doorstep provide a great connection of the hostel to other tourist destination of Beijing. It is also only 15 minutes walk to Back... More

I would really recommend staying here, everyone here was so friendly and the location was perfect, 2 minutes from the metro and some amazing restaurants, make sure you try the street pancakes up the road on the way to the station!

Youll love the location of Beijing Drum Tower hostel. Close to metro line 2 so easy to access anywhere in Beijing. The hostel is in a fun area bustling with cafés, street food, shops and parks. Bunk beds and rooms are spacious. Rooftop view is outstanding. Free pool table, too.

We stayed here for five nights whilst we toured Beijing and the Great Wall, three nights in a dorm and 2 in a private room. The communal area was nice and clean, and there is lots of information for travellers, and the dorm and private rooms were also clean and well kept. The problems we had were with the staff,... More

It's a typical backpackers hostel, good young ambient, clean room, comfortable beds but a poor bathroom (you get the bowl wet when you get a shower, as there is no curtain or anything). The reception is quite helpful and they speak more or less good english, not very common in Chine, not even Beijing. We booked a six people room... More

We stayed here on our last night in China, though we had been in their restaurant a few times before and they had helped us with booking plane tickets online (which was very nice since we weren't even staying with them at the time). Our room was a decent size, with a large Queen sized bed and large windows looking... More

The hostel is cozy and has a really nice atmosphere in the lobby and cafe. However 1. The toilet was unbelievably dirty and not cleaned until we warned them to do so which was at least 24h after we arrived.. 2. The four of us made one reservation for a four-bed bedroom, but we were placed in a six-bed bedroom,... More

The location is quite good ( metro is 5min walking) but close to the hostel there are working in progress for metro so it's a mess!!!! Crazy traffic all the day!!! Resturants & bars are closed. The hostel stuff was not so nice during the check in. They were so confused and unkind. There were three of us: 2 in... More

Pros: Great location: close to a subway stop, walking distance to bars, shopping, hutong, Drum Tower. Easy transit via subway or taxi to sites like Forbidden City. Incredible staff: speak great English, friendly, helpful. Spent 2 hours with us helping us plan and book travels – hostels, trains, planes, and buses – to other parts of China. Clean and quiet...
