Four night stay at Novotel Xin Qiao Beijing. Hotel has been renovated for 08 Olympics, so disregard older posts before that time. Reception staff was friendly, check-in and out was quick and easy! The hotel was fantastic. Very clean rooms, air conditioning that works perfectly, a large LCD TV that had a good selection of English language programming, and of course conveniently located near many of the city's cultural sites. Beijing is of course a fantastic place to visit. novotel only increases the pleasure of the trip. The excellent hospitality services and good housekeeping did the trick for Novotel. Great hotel, great location, great food and a wonderful experience. more

Forget about what websites say about location. Nothing is "walkable distance". You can just take the subway, across the door. The noisy big avenue has plenty of taxis, but the Novotel porter sometimes gives a wrong direction to the driver, be careful. We wondered what "superior" the room had, compared to a ''standard''.
