on a travelling spree recently again and chanced upon the most awesome indoor swimming pool that i have ever seen at the grand hyatt beijing! a theme was built into the swimming pool decor, featuring more of a nature feel to it... really relaxing in having a swim in this indoor pool that seems to shut off the hustle and... As with the other modern hotels I have experienced in China, the Grand Hyatt Beijing rates very highly. The gym has convenient hours and is well equipped with free weights, cardio, and weight machines. Uniquely, it has a 50m pool that is very clean and almost never used, so a very good option for lap swimmers. The minestrone soup I... More

Stayed at this hotel in January 2012 and found it to be quite nice. The rooms are fine. No wifi in the room so if you have a MacBook Air with no internet cable connection you need to go down to the lobby. I would give it a 5 Star rating but I found it quite expensive and again, the... More

Stayed in early December, 2011, for 4 nights with my brother and son. Club level, suite was more than perfect for our needs. Pool was over-the-top great! Ball was dropped from the get-go, with...an absence of attention in the Club lounge. We saw many guests, particularly business men, receiving adoring welcomes into the lounge, and prompt service...including delivery of food... More

The Grand Hyatt Beijing is a beautiful hotel with large spacious rooms, in a nice central location. The Grand Hyatt Beijing is easy to get to, there's a metro stop right on the corner. Be careful of the taxi cabs loitering in the area cause they will try to rip you off. I asked the cabbie how much the fare... More

The Grand Hyatt Beijing is set back from the busy city streets and is adjacent to an upscale shopping center and several office buildings. It is a short walk to Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City, a perfect location for seeing those historical sites. It also features several excellent restaurants. The rooms were contemporary style, nicely appointed ans comfortable. We... More

The hotel is arguably the best located spot in town. Right on Wangfujing, at the edge of the Imperial Palace, within walkable distance to Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square. Sitting on top of a subway station and a large shopping mall, so no need to brave the harsh winter winds outside. Everything was great, nice lobby, good service, efficient check... More

The hotel is very conveniently located near most of the central tourist / business locations. The hotel staff can, at times, be forgetful of the fact that they are there to help guests - especially with luggage when you are arriving / departing. The breakfast is excellent and lots of choice. The rooms are very good. The swimming pool is... More

Great location for exploring Beijing. The pool was awesome place for the kids to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We had a great experience in Beijing but most of that was attributed to a great travel guide so when we made it back to the hotel we were exhausted. Maybe that is why were are not as critical as...
